It's rarely the technology. It's starting with a tool instead of a problem.

Founders get told AI will change everything, then handed a list of tools instead of a problem worth solving. The projects that ship tend to start somewhere much narrower: one repetitive task, clearly defined, with a specific person accountable for using the result. Everything else, which model, how it's integrated, how it scales, follows from that. Not the other way round.
